9/28/11 - Rabies Shot? Check!

Poor little guy got sticked with a needle a few times to get him up-to-date with all of his vaccinations. He officially DONE for now and we couldn't be happier. He was definitely lethargic later on in the evening and here he was hiding from me because all he wanted was to go to sleep. Poor thing!

9/25/11 - Nutter Butter

We tried yet another Kong recipe today and just filled it with peanut butter. This little guy went to town!! He got just a smidge dirty from all the peanut butter, but you can just see the joy in his eyes!

9/24/11 - Greasy Smile

After breakfast this morning, I discovered my eggs left a greasy smile behind. Now I realize this isn't nearly as cool as one of those bagels shaped in the face of Mother Theresa or Queen Diana, but it's almost as cool....right?

9/23/11 - Toy Dog

Yes, people this dog is real. He is not a toy but totally looks like one at times. I'm the luckiest person in the world to come home to this cutie each day (oh and Domingo too of course)!

9/22/11 - Rainy Rainbow

On my way out from work today, I had to stop and see if I could capture this rainbow on camera. I always hear how difficult they were and this photo definitely proves just that. In real life this rainbow was so bold and beautiful. Too bad I wasn't able to capture it exactly...

9/19/11 - Eat Your Vegetables

I tried a new Kong recipe today that had chopped carrots and apples inside sealed with mashed bananas. We also found out that Shox is just like his parents. I came home today to find little bits of orange all over the kitchen. Apparently, Mr. Shox doesn't like vegetables just like Domingo and I. Hay dios mio....what are we going to do with him?

9/18/11 - Going on a Road Trip

On our way to grandma and grandpa's today, we took a photo. Shox also looks like he wants nothing to do with not only me, but the photo. Yeesh - party pooper.

9/17/11 - Mini Size

As I was out shopping today and I came across these shoes that looked oddly familiar. Domingo has these shoes or at least they look extremely close to these. How cute are they??

9/16/11 - Army Men Cake

Our last and final Hunting Season motivational dessert was the ever-so-cool cinnamon cake. This recipe is my grandmother's who used to make this for me every birthday. I hadn't had it in years so it was fun and truly special to make. Did I mention it came out SUPER yummy???

9/15/11 - Topshop Chicago

Topshop (a British clothing store) finally opened up here in Chicago! My sister first introduced this to me a few years back when I was visiting her in London and it was love at first sight. Now of course a few years later, the clothes are still crazy but super cute! It's nice to go into this store and bring back such fun memories!!

9/14/11 - Kong Recipes

I got some awesome recipes for Shox's Kong toy and one includes doggy food. He could totally smell it as soon as I got home so this should go over verrryyy well. What a spoiled little guy!

9/13/11 - I have a Puppy?

I know this blog has slowly turned into a photo album of Shox, but I can't help but to snap such cute photos of the little booger. These new bones we got him though have been a lifesaver. They help with his chewing and biting big time. The only problem is we constantly have to be sticking our hands under the couch to pull them back out. Silly doggy!!

9/12/11 - Yogurt

Ok really Chicago....can you get your stuff together and open up more yogurt places? PRETTY PLEASE?!?!? I dream about having a place where I can get yogurt like this near my home!!! I'd be the bestest customer too. I promise to keep it in business!!!!!

9/11/11 - Only Child

Shoxy's Aunt Nike was nice enough to pass on her clothes and they totally fit perfectly! Stephanie (Domingo's sister) and I dazzled Shox in such a fitting tee today!

9/10/11 - Timberrrrr!

Domingo and his parents did quite a bit of landscaping in our backyard today and boy did they do a great job!! After many attempts to knock down this tree, Domingo, physical force, and chain saw all got the sucker down. The best part of the whole event was watching Domingo's dad climb the tree in the beginning. It was crazy!

9/9/11 - Deer Took a "Dump" Cake

This Fridays motivational dessert is to encourage the brokers to "bag that buck." So, we made a dump cake. This isn't like any regular dump cake though. This is the special Deer Took a "Dump" Cake and it was deeelicious!

9/8/11 - Dead Ducky

So prior to Mr. Green Duck, Shox had Mr. Blue Duck. Well after Mr. Blue Duck passed we got him Mr. Green Duck. Mr. Green Duck lasted 2.5 days. That's gotta be a record somewhere! RIP Mr. Duckies.

Hahahaha thank goodness he's a dog because if he really had any idea this photo was now all over the web, I think Shox would definitely run away. He's a cute pooper!

9/4/11 - $400 Worth of Gross

Our drain backed up in the basement today. It smelled terrible and Shox wanted to play in it. We finally had Roto Rooter come out and $400 later, the drain is cleared and we are good to go. Yay.

9/3/11 - Pooped

Shox can't decide if he likes the tile or carpet better. Good thing he has plenty of toys around in case he wakes up and wants to play!!

9/2/11 - Bite the Bullseye

In honor of the Hunting Season contest, Nancy and I made "bullseye" cookies at work to help entice the brokers. Those are some sexy looking bullseyes, haha!

8/29/11 - It's Hunting Season!

We have began our 2nd annual Hunting Season sales contest at work. In lieu of the theme, I have proceeded to decorate the office with bags of money in which they should be "hunting" for. Let the games begin!

8/28/11 - Gettin' Wii Fit

This is the totally new way to get fit with the Wii!! Here's our latest model working out sooo very hard under the coffee table. Watch out, people! This puppy is FIT!

8/27/11 - I'm Innocent!!

I laid out my blanket today so that Shoxy can lay down and take a nap. I finally was able to get him in a cute position, so I pulled out my phone to see if I could take a photo. The good news is - yes, I did take a photo. The bad news is - this kid is taking a leak in this photo. Yep, take a look at the photo again. You can totally tell he is putting his best "I'm innocent!" face on....little stinker.

8/26/11 - Hi. I'm Cute.

Honestly, Shox is the BEST thing ever to photograph. I have dubbed him my "bathroom assistant" as he has to ALWAYS follow me in there. If he isn't in there, he's right outside the door trying to find some way in. He does hate it when I do my hair only because he gets bored....typical male.

8/25/11 - Puppy Love

Our little guy LOVES hanging out at grandma and grandpa's!! They have such a huge, fenced in yard that he can run around without any worries. I fall in love with this little boy more and more each day!
